Your business keeps moving, even on the hard days.
More and more of us with a chronic health condition are turning to self-employment, for the flexibility we need. But running a business still comes with a relentless pile of things to do, and some days you simply don't have the capacity for any of it.
Running a business with a chronic health condition means your capacity isn't always predictable. Some weeks you're on top of everything. Others, just getting through the day is enough.
That's where I come in.
When you're in a flare, or exhausted, or your brain simply won't cooperate, your business doesn't have to grind to a halt. I keep things moving behind the scenes so that when you come back, you're not walking into a backlog.
Your inbox gets checked. Your clients hear back. Your deadlines are tracked. The tasks that drain your limited energy get handled, quietly and reliably, so you can save what you have for the work only you can do.
I'm not here to take over. I'm here to make sure that on the hard days, your business is in safe hands. And on the good days, you've got more space to actually enjoy them.
Working with Seen looks different to working with other VAs. That's intentional.
Need to cancel a call?
Fine with me. Sometimes our bodies have other ideas about our schedules. Just let me know when you're ready.

Video off today?
Getting camera-ready takes energy. There's no obligation to have it on, so join however feels manageable today.

Working from bed?
Tough days happen. When we catch up, you don't need to make your way to your desk. Work from wherever you are, in whatever you're wearing. You're the boss.

The only ask
Communicate when you can, so I can support you properly. Everything else is flexible.
No explanation needed.
Not rigid systems and formal check-ins, but a working relationship built on trust, understanding, and a shared knowledge of what some days really cost.
Seen works on a monthly retainer basis: a set number of hours each month at a fixed fee. No surprises, no hourly tracking anxiety, no pressure to use every minute. If a bad week means a quieter month, we roll with it. If you need a little more, we'll talk.

Not sure yet? Try a taster.
A one-time 5-hour introductory package for £175, ideal if you'd like to get a feel for working together before committing to a monthly retainer. Available to new clients once.
Not sure which is right for you? That's what the first conversation is for. No commitment, no pressure.
How it works in practice
Your retainer is paid at the start of each month. Tasks come in via our agreed channel whenever suits you, with no set schedule. I work through them in my own time, log as I go, and send you a simple hours summary at the end of the month. Work is done in minimum 30-minute blocks.
How tasks work
Everything is asynchronous. Drop tasks in whenever suits you and I'll work through them in my own time. No need to schedule work sessions or be available at the same time. A brief monthly check-in call keeps us aligned, booked via shared calendar at a time that works for you.
Unused hours
Hours are monthly and don't roll over, which keeps things clean and predictable for both of us. If you find you consistently need fewer hours, we can adjust your package.
Need a little more?
Additional hours are available at £35/hour. If you regularly need more, we'll have a conversation about moving you to the next tier, with no pressure either way.
We have an informal chat about you, your business, what's taking up your energy, and whether Seen might help. No sales pitch. Just a conversation between two people who understand what it's like.

We figure out what you need
Everyone is different. We'll work out together what kind of support would make the biggest difference, and which package makes sense for where you are right now.

We get started, on your terms
Simple agreement, easy onboarding, and a working rhythm that suits you. If a scheduled check-in clashes with a bad day, we move it. No explanation needed.
In my early 30s, I was the person who was always on her feet, managing a busy city centre hotel. Long shifts, high pressure, a hundred things happening at once. I was the fittest I'd ever been. Back then, energy felt infinite. Today, I live with fibromyalgia. That transition, from the relentless physical energy of hotel management to the reality of spoon management, changed everything about how I see work.
I've worn many hats throughout my career: hotel manager, office manager, and business analyst. I've navigated the corporate world across fintech and crypto, searching for a way to balance high-level work with a body that has its own agenda. I learned that the best work happens when you stop fighting rigid structures and start working in a way that actually accounts for human health.
Chronic illness takes enough from us. It shouldn't take our careers too.
There came a point where I decided to stop waiting for the right circumstances and take my future and my health into my own hands. Seen is what that decision became. Liberating in every sense.
I realised that for those of us with chronic illness, working for yourself is often the only way to get the flexibility and control we actually need. There are over 4 million self-employed people in the UK, and so many of us are navigating hurdles that the rest of the world simply can't see.
I take on a small number of clients intentionally, so I can show up fully for each one. You are building something incredible while navigating a body that doesn't always cooperate. I'm here as a supportive partner to lighten your load and help you preserve your spoons for the things that matter most, while I keep things moving behind the scenes.
